Surrounded by orange blossoms near the shores of the Pacific just blocks from Disneyland, my Age of Innocence was spent not knowing how good I had it!  After college and two careers, one as a stewardess and the other spent giving it my all as a homemaker & mother of four, came a serendipitous move to the PNW. Now nestled against the Willamette Valley’s Cascade Foothills, I've been treated to yet another slice of heavenly pie. 

This is the place I was meant to be and now is the best of times . . .

With my high school sweetheart helping make his wife's dreams come true, our summers are warmed by the glow of gatherings in the name of "amour et mariage" celebrated just outside the door of our little country house, La Bastide.  Exquisite vineyard views, accented by vistas of "Golden Hour" sunsets, create a stunning backdrop for the bliss felt at every wedding. What a thrill to witness such joyous beginnings brimming with the promise of bright tomorrows when, by faith, in grace, we relish our participation as hosts.
